eb3_nepa's request is valid in the context that spouse of an L1 can take up any Job.. & the spouse of the proposed 'Blue Card" can take up any job.. why not a H4?

On the other hand for those ones that say that we (H-4s) could apply for H-1B easily, it is not easy if you are not in IT. Some people said -although doesn't make much sense looking that L-1 and Blue card spouses would be able to work-, that if you do not want the H-4s to compete with average joes?, then an intermediate solution is to require a Bachellor degree minimum education requirement for getting the H-4s a H-4B (my new name for employment authorization), yes, dependend on the H-1B, if the H-1B is laid off the H-4 would still have the chance to apply for H-1B (without counting in the yearly quota) or leave the country after 6 months. Why should we get a F-1 visa?, most of us arrived highly educated.

It's been some time but I recall being asked something about legal troubles but lawyers when they filed my 485. They said to exclude speeding tickets.

wonder if you guys have found any good trading strategy using options.
having you tried doing system development.
something as simple as buying etfs when rsi2 is below 2 or in other words its beaten down and you are expecting a turnaround.
would like to know if playing options on such short term( 1to 5 days) would generate profitabloe results or not.
do you guys mind sharing some ideas

My PERM application (5/28/07 PD) stuck at Atlanta
In meantime I asked my lawyer what my employer would need to get for me (my employer has been a major pain and slow beyond words...took years to get PERm going...i'm seriously just done/depressed with so much). My lawyer said they would need to provide 2006 tax docs and sign bunch of papers etc.
Checked with employer...it's an average work place...must have 100 employees i think....and i'm told by HR (this woman in charge seriously has some stuff against me...i don't know) that they don't have 2006 returns, just 2005...come on a legal place like them has to have filed 2006 return.... but this is what i'm told..
I guess what's the point...without those docs, which i assume are initial evidence, i have no hope....
me...really sad....

I saw somewhere on other site clearly mentioned that once 485 is rejected, H1B extension based on pending 485 also becomes invalid. If a person keeps working, it it considered as illegal. I do not have link right now, but I guess I found it on some lawyers website, posted link on IV in some other thread.

I have a valid H1B permit (no visa). If I use AP to enter and according to the IV gurus I can still continue myself on H1B. Do I need to do any paperwork to change I-94 or it is automatically converted back to H1B as I am not using my EAD.

I found this only today.. I do not work for this employer since Jan 2008. On EAD now.. 46 days passed since the date mentioned.. not sure what is this about..

We reopened this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER on January 30, 2008, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. If figures provided to Senator are true and way Govt agencies working right now. I think first they will Put hard rule for Eb2 qualification. So almost they can shut door for Eb2. They may only allow 20k orless Eb2 in a year. For next 2 years no more spill over to Eb3. That way they can make Eb2 complete clear and becasue of tough policies it will remain C forever.
now in 2011 Eb3 will get almost major chunk of spill and it will clear Eb3 in next 2-3 years. Also new Eb2 and Eb3 will be stuck at labor and I 140 stage meanwhile. I am expecting that they may come up with new policy that if person does not have approved I 140 , cannot file I 485.
So People will be stuck at all 3 stages of GC. almost 8-12 months on each stage.This way they can remove almost 80 % backlog. Total will be 4 year to clean 80 % backlog. After 2013 there wll be only 200k pending 485 will be with them. Which is nice for them to approve 140k out of them easily in a year and leave 60k in a given year.

I dont see how genuine consulting firms will be affected by this. Those who employ people on H1B with genuine clients will be OK. Only consulting firms who bring/hire H1b employees without any project will be impacted. In my opinion this will help avoid the benching practice...

Anonymous persons are not qualified to talk anything about courage. If you(anands26) are so courageous, then why dont you unveil your identity.
Look at his post several months back. He had full faith in IV as a free rider visitor. He believed something will get passed due to some chunk of insane contributors. When his beleif of free riding ended up in failure as feb 15th is nearing, he bursted himself.

Show some Courage Dude. Take up a role in your state chapter, go meet the lawmaker, Educate them on the difficulties we face, write to the reporters & highlight our issues. Contact the Core and ask for responsibilities. I am sure the Core would be happy to delegate some of the responsibilities to you.
